Crab Cakes
Ingredients
  • 1 pound crab meat picked to remove all shells
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Oil for panfrying
Instructions
  1. Place crab in a mixing bowl. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix lightly until combined. If the mixture is too dry add in a little more mayonnaise, and if it is too wet, add in a bit more fresh bread crumbs. Form the crab mixture into serving sized patties.
  2. Heat a couple of tablespoons of oil in a nonstick skillet. Fry each crab cake until browned on both sides, then transfer to a serving platter.
  3. Serve warm.
